Can the partnership enhance the companies holdings in the real estate market?
Bricsnet, a provider of integrated workplace management solutions or IWMS, and CGI, an IT services company, have entered into a strategic partnership in which CGI will develop, market and deploy of Bricsnet’s IWMS business capabilities and software offerings.
According to Bricsnet, the combination of its commercial-off-the-shelf technology for management of real-estate transactions, construction projects, maintenance, facility services, occupancy, utilization and other workplace activities with CGI’s expertise in business processes, transformation, technology integrations and corporate services provides clients with a solution for control of costs and operational issues around its real estate holdings, which often are the expensive and complex assets in the corporate portfolio.
Bricsnet said that the partnership between the company and CGI has been conceived as a working relationship extending beyond the traditional areas of marketing and sales. CGI resources have been trained in Bricsnet technology and are already working alongside Bricsnet’s internal team in professional services, product development, and engineering.
Hector Rodriguez, chairman and CEO of Bricsnet, said: Our partnership with CGI started well over a year ago and is yielding extraordinary benefits. CGI brings a wealth of talent to the table moving this relationship well beyond the typical partnership formed to implement the platform of a software provider. This alliance brings our companies together in a way that uniquely serves the needs of the real estate market.
