French state-owned financial holding Compagnie Financiere de Suez has bought an 8% stake in Sogeti SA, the computer services holding company that has 52% of CAP Gemini Sogeti SA. The indicated value of the transaction is between $66m and $71m, the shares coming from Sogeti’s management. The move is seen as giving CAP Gemini a new source of funds to continue its ambitious acquisitions programme.
