Medical software provider ChartOne has partnered with Summit Healthcare as part of an overall effort to help medical facilities using Meditech hospital information systems migrate to a fully paperless healthcare environment.
ChartOne aims to integrate its eWebHealth Suite, a hosted electronic document management system, with Summit’s hospital information product to create a seamless hospital management tool.
With the eWebHealth Suite, electronic documents such as patient history and test reports are all fed directly into ChartOne’s secure medical record repository. There, they combine with scanned paper documents to form a complete legal medical record for all patients. This information is then available through a web based viewer to all authorized staff.
