Microsoft Corp has set November 11 as the deadline for Windows 4.0 – Chicago, according to a notice posted to a CompuServe forum on June 16 without Microsoft’s consent and was removed a day later at the company’s request, PC Week reports; the paper also asserts that Chicago isn’t Windows, and users and administrators will be better prepared by viewing it as a completely new operating system that just happens to run Windows applications.
