Following agreement between the Common Open Software Environment firms on the cross-licensing of their respective Common Desktop Environment component technologies, the first CDE binaries are expected to be available at the forthcoming CDE Developers’ Conference in San Jose, between October 26 and 28. A CD-ROM with Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Santa Cruz Operation Inc and Unix System Group CDE binaries will be offered to delegates by at least SunSoft Inc, IBM Corp, Hewlett-Packard Co and Santa Cruz.
