Cox Communications Inc, the Atlanta, Georgia-based cable television operator, has reported second quarter net profit up 127% at $61.2m on revenue which rose 12.2% at $401.1m. Midterm net fell 32.0% to $23.3m on revenue 10.0% higher at $784.2m. Net per share rose 130% to $0.23 in the quarter, down 30.8% to $0.09 in the half.
