Geac Computer Corp Ltd has reported a third quarter net loss equivalent to $78.5m after $80.0m in charges to write down or write off software, goodwill, inventory and fixed assets, against a profit last time of $6.4m on revenue that rose 175% at $104.4m. Net loss for the nine months was $66.4m, against a profit last time of $19.4m. The figures include those of Dun & Bradstreet Software Inc from its acquisition on November 1. The figures have been converted at $0.7253 to the Canadian dollar.
