Great Plains Software Inc, Fargo, North Dakota-based provider of financial management software, has reported third-quarter net income of $2.4m on revenue up 53.8% at $22.6m, compared to net income of $794,000 a year ago. Nine-month net income was $6.1m on revenue up 50.6% at $59.4m, compared to net income of $2.0m last year. Earnings per share rose 112.5% to $0.17 for the quarter and to $0.46 from $0.12 for the nine months.
