Progress Software Corp has reported fourth quarter net profits down 55.2% at $2.0m on revenue down 6.3% at $45.3m; net profits for the year to November 30 1996 were down 67.1% at $5.5m including a non-recurring charge for purchase of in-process software development of $2.4m on revenue that fell 1.9% to $1.9m. Net per share fell 95.3% to $0.15 in the quarter, 66.4% to $0.41 in the year.
