Read-Rite Corporation has reported second quarter net profits of $23.6m up from $1.3m last time on revenue up 9.2% at $282.1m; mid-term net fell 33.1% to $29.3m on revenue down 4.3% at $533.7m. Net per share rose to $0.48 in the quarter, down 33.0% to $0.61 in the half.
