Sync Research Inc, Irvine, California maker of WAN products for the IBM network environment, reported a second-quarter net loss of $3m on revenue down 17% at $6.3m, up from a loss of $2.5m a year ago. Six-month net loss was $9.2m on revenue down 32% at $11.4m, up from a loss of $4.1m last year.
