US Long Distance Corp has reported fourth quarter net profits up 23.7% at $2.3m after an extraordinary gain of $693,000 last time, on turnover up 55.4% at $41.9m; net profit for the year to September 30 was up 22.4% at $4.9m, after an extraordinary loss of $316,000 this time and a gain of $1.5m last time, on turnover that rose 57.7% to $134.1m. Net earnings per share rose 6.3% to $0.17 in the quarter, 14.3% to $0.40 in the year.
