London-based Dataflex Design Ltd launched an ISDN PC Half Card, which it claims is the first UK-approved product to comply with the European Programming Interface standard: the board conforms to the CCITT V.110 standard, and can operate at speeds of up to 64Kbps but price has yet to be set; it will work with Dataflex’s Enhanced range of modems, and with any Hayes-compatible asynchronous software; the company also launched three facsimile modems combining V.32 bis modem speeds with 14,400bps send and receive fax, which cost from UKP600.
