Digital Equipment Corp is to open up a three dimensional technology park on the web as a viewing platform for its products. The Digital City is a replica of DEC’s German headquarters in Munich-Johanneskirchen, and visitors will be able to tour the site exploring DEC’s divisions and business partners. The site was developed by German-based VR Technologies GmbH using UK company Superscape Virtual Reality Plc’s VRT web authoring software.
