Swedish computer manufacturer Diab Data A/S has won an OEM contract from ISC Systems Corp of Spokane, Washington, for its DS90-21 68020-based Unix multi-processors. ISC has placed an initial order for 100 systems, but will soon begin manufacturing the machines itself, for marketing into banking and financiial applications. Diab saw a 40% increase in sales last year, and through another OEM customer, Norway’s Norsk Data A/S, has sold many systems to the Swedish Department of Defence.
