Digital Research Inc, Monterey, California is now shipping multi tasking, MS-DOS-compatible Concurrent DOS 386 release 3.0. The new is claimed to offer improved performance, provide applications such as Lotus 1-2-3, AutoCAD, Agenda and Ventura Publisher with more memory in which to execute, and includes new utilities that enhance communications. The company is also shipping Release 3.4 of DR DOS, the MS-DOS 3.4-compatible operating system, and says that some 24 OEM customers have contracts to offer DR DOS with their systems, representing licensing agreements for over 2m copies of the product.
