Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based Encore Computer Corp has sold an Infinity R/T Alpha AXP microprocessor-based real-time system, valued at UKP100,000, to British Aerospace Plc’s Dynamics arm: the system, which incorporates specific features designed to give optimum performance in demanding real-time applications including missile and flight simulation, large scale data acquisition and control, image processing, telemetry, and real-time video processing, will be used for the modeling and simulation of high-performance missiles; it is scheduled for delivery next month.
