Exodus Technologies Inc wants us to make it clear that Oracle Corp’s Network Computing Inc has not signed a licensing deal to use the Exodus NTerprise software for running Windows applications remotely from network computers. NTerprise is not included as part of NCI’s NC Server and Desktop software even though it was demonstrated running within NC Desktop at the rollout on Tuesday. We’ve also kicked ourselves mightily for wrongly attributing Exodus’ remote Windows capability to the Citrix Systems Inc ICA protocol. It uses Paris company Groupe Prologue SA’s multi-user NT technology in NTerprise.
