Financial services firm Fortis has undertaken a sweeping IT restructuring program, aimed at reducing costs by merging its IT operations across all of its regional branches.
To support the restructuring Fortis has drafted in management systems company Odyssey, which will be implementing its CRM solution. It will also roll-out its next generation of customer internet site.
Implementation is planned to start early in 2006, and the rollout will take place in several incremental phases in 2006 and 2007.
Michel Dauphin, the general manager of information services at Fortis, elaborated on the company’s expectations. We count on Odyssey to timely deliver high quality software components and the associated professional services to support our ambitious implementation plan of an efficient information system for Private Banking, aligned with the key business processes and based on a coherent and modular architecture.
