HCM Workforce Management Time & Attendance system to ensure consistent processes across all of Foschini’s stores
Foschini, a South African retail group, has selected the Infor HCM Workforce Management Time & Attendance system to improve staff productivity within its fashion, sport, jewelery and homeware stores.
According to Infor, the system is expected to help increase payroll accuracy; create improved visibility of hours worked by retail staff; and ensure consistent processes across all of Foschini’s stores.
Following a successful pilot completed in October 2008, HCM Workforce Management Time & Attendance (T&A) is expected to be rolled out for 1330 stores by early 2010, as well as Foschini’s 900-seat call center by mid-2009.
Simon New, T&A program manager at the Foschini Group, said: We have 16,700 staff across our stores and call centers including full time workers, casual workers and flexi-workers. In order to ensure that HR policies are adhered to, legal requirements are met and overtime paid quickly and accurately, it was fundamental to have a strong T&A system.
