Fujitsu Ltd claims to have developed the world’s first 64M-bit synchronous dynamic random access memory chip, from which data can be extracted two to three times faster than ordinary 64Ms, transferring data at 100M-bits per second; Fujitsu says it will gradually shift its emphasis to high-speed DRAMs.
