Fujitsu Ltd has introduced an 80386-based Japanese language word processor called the Oasys 300A, which has functions for desktop publishing, and for connection and transmission of documents in a large network: it comes with two 5.25 floppy drives, a CD-ROM, and an SCSI interface, and ships start in early October, with prices starting at $2,100; at the same time Fujitsu announced upgrades to other models such as Oasys 100 HXII, FXII-L and FX-L, and the company is expecting to sell around 5,000 of the machines per month.
