Gateway has launched LT21 Series netbook, which it claims to provide up to 10 hours of battery life, as well as models with 802.11N Wifi and new technologies for mobile computing.
The LT21 netbook models come with 6-cell Li-ion extended (5600mAh) battery, 802.11b/g/N Wifi wireless connection. The LT21 models are also available with 6-cell Li-Ion battery (4400mAh) and 802.11b/g Wifi that provide up to eight hours of battery life.
According to Gateway, the new netbook weighs around 2.76 pounds and measures about 1-inch thin. It features Intel Atom N450 processor, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150 graphics with 64MB of video memory and support for Microsoft DirectX 9; and an integrated webcam.
The new LT Series netbook comes with 10.1-inch LED-backlit TFT display with 1024×600 resolution, multi-gesture touchpad, mobile Intel NM10 Express Chipset, multi-in-1 digital media card reader, two built-in stereo speakers, three USB 2.0 ports and a digital microphone. It supports 1GB of memory and supports either 160GB or 250GB of hard drive space, the company said.

The new models come in a choice of cherry red, nightsky black and glacier white colours, and are available with either Windows7 Starter or Windows XP Home with a one year limited warranty.
