General Electric has resolved its problem of the surplus David Sarnoff Research Center of its RCA acquisition in Princeton, New Jersey by donating it to SRI International, the non-profit Stanford Research Institute. SRI has agreed to take at least 900 of the 1,200 people employed there, and GE has promised $250m work over five years.
