GEC Computers Ltd, Borehamwood, has set a firm return to its industrial and technical roots, and its latest entrant in the 4100 series of 16- and 32-bit machines that run the Nucleus operating system is the 4151 19 rack-mounted version of the low-end 4150, aimed at industrial and process applications where space is tight. At 60% smaller than its predecessors, it comes in a single 19 crate with up to three 5.25 disk drives and power supply. 12Mb cartridge and 85Mb Winchesters are offered. No prices were given.
