GEC MAKES PROPOSAL TO GET 24.5% OF CGE’S CGEE-ALSTHOM SA

Getting still closer to Compagnie Generale d’Electricite SA, GEC Plc is now proposing to merge its GEC Electrical Projects engineering and the speed control and programmable logic controller units of GEC Industrial Controls into CGE’s CGEE Alsthom SA, in return for 24.5%.
