General DataComm Industries Inc and Stockholm, Sweden-based L M Ericsson Telefon AB’s Ericsson Business Networks Unit have announced they will be working together to integrate their respective Frame Relay and Asynchronous Mode management offerings under the Ericsson Dynamic Network Administration management umbrella, so as to offer all their customers one system. Through the agreement Danbury, Connecticut-based General DataComm’s Apex Advantage family will be combined with Ericsson’s Eripax suite, although there is no word on the time-scale for getting the work done.
