Genisco Technology Corp, La Mirada, California is feeling a lot happier after having settled its differences with IBM, receiving $200,000 in cash and an additional consideration of about $200,000 from IBM to buy the giant out of its purchase order for Genisco’s magnetic tape transports; making it even happier is the fact that GTE Government Systems has given it a $1.7m add-on order for magnetic tape subsystems.
