Following the big hoo-ha over Microsoft Corp’s Palm PC announcement (CI No 3,322) Hewlett-Packard Co has chopped the price of its HP 360LX palmtop PC by $100. The device that runs on the Windows CE 2.0 operating system, like the Microsoft device will now retail for around $600, bringing it closer to the anticipated selling price of the Palm PC which will hit the street by the middle of the year.
