Hewlett-Packard Co is trying to bring its Windows NT-based series of NetServer PC servers into the enterprise just as fast as it can and now says its Fiber Channel I/O and storage solutions will be available for use with the PC servers from next quarter. Fiber Channel technologies are currently only available for HP’s HP-UX Unix systems. HP’s also integrating the HP NetServer Assistant management application with HP OpenView Network Node Manager and CA Unicenter-TNG so that NetServers can be managed from heterogeneous environments.
