If an initiative to charm small business customers pays off, Hewlett Packard Co could see its annual turnover increase by up to 4bn pounds. Aimed at companies with 100 employees or less, HP will sell printers and communications devices in addition to personal computers and set up a web site dedicated to its target market. It will also embark on a campaign to recruit what it hopes will amount to 3,000 value added resellers and will launch an advertising campaign, of which the budget is undisclosed.
