IBM Corp has announced the signing of an agreement with the Prague School of Economics, the State College of Mining, the Ostrava School of Mining and Metallurgy and the Agricultural College of Prague, in the Czech Republic under its worldwide academic initiative. Under the frame agreement, IBM will supply AS/400 systems and software to the bodies. IBM has also promised that it will promote multimedia applications that have been designed by the Prague School of Economics at an international conference to be held in Prague, on June 7, entitled, Systems Integration ’94, which it is jointly organising.
