IMLogic Inc, a company that sells instant messaging detection and blocking tools, has launched a product it hopes will appeal to small and mid-sized enterprises wanting to deploy security systems to control staff use of public IM services from work.
IM Express enables the archiving and logging of instant messages as they pass through the network and before they cross to IM services such as MSN, Yahoo, ICQ and AOL.
The Waltham, Massachusetts-based company said the new package would offer defenses against incoming spam, viruses and worms.
