Intel Corp, which is keen to establish its microprocessors as standards in China, has donated more than 40 Pentium computers to Qinghua and Peking universities: the donation, worth $400,000, was Intel’s first to any university outside the US and will enable China’s two top universities to set up world-class Pentium laboratories.
