Intel Corp plans to invest around $425m in Malaysia next year to strengthen the country’s role as its largest manufacturing base outside the US, the government news agency Bernama said. The company invested around the same amount this year also. A new 300,000 sqare foot building is scheduled for completion next February to house new technology for microprocessor packaging.
