Nine months late, IntelliCorp, of Mountain View, California is ready to ship its KEE Knowledge Engineering Environment for 80386-based personal computers: it demonstrated the low-end version 15 months ago (CI No 726). Initially available on Compaq Computer Corp DeskPro 386 and Portable 386 machines, the new version of the KEE system will also be released for IBM PS/2 Model 70 and 80 computers within the next three months. The introductory price – until year-end – including the underlying Common Lisp and operating system software – is $9,900; it then rises to $15,000.
