Intelligent Environments Group Plc, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex developer of the Hyperlogic language, reports from its base in Burlington, Massachusetts that it has acquired Intrepid Consulting Inc, a $2.75m-a-year Chicago international consulting firm established in 1994. Terms were not disclosed. Intrepid has worked with Intelligent Environments on a number of Amazon Web application development projects and it has both IBM Corp mainframe programming and object-oriented client-server and Java skills. Intrepid currently employs 20 people, Intelligent employs 80.
