Japan Information Processing Ltd of Tokyo has brought in Island Graphics Inc’s Island Write, Draw and Paint desktop publishing packages for the Japanese market on Sony Corp workstations: Unix specialist Unisol Inc has the distributor rights in Japan for the Japanese version of Write/Draw/Paint, but Japan Information has won exclusive rights for the Sony workstation version; it is expecting to sell 3,000 copies by the end of this financial year to March, selling at just over $2,000.
