Sadahiro Ushitani of the Technos Japan Company working with the Himeji Institute of Technology has developed a pair of goggles fitted with a tiny electrode that monitors beta brainwave activity in the wearer. By concentrating on a screen displaying a range of icons and thinking Doh! loudly in the style of Homer Simpson the device will change channels and alter volume levels as required.
