The County of Los Angeles, California has gone live with new AMS Advantage Grant Lifecycle Management module from CGI Group, a provider of IT and business process services.
The implementation of the Grant Lifecycle Management (GLM) module is the latest building block of a multi-year ERP initiative to replace the county’s legacy administrative systems with CGI’s AMS Advantage, an integrated ERP system.
According to CGI, GLM provides a centralized view of potential grant revenue and grants status across all government levels, improving coordination, communication, and oversight. GLM also identifies patterns for lost grant dollars as well as managing sources of grant funding, across federal, state, and local governments as well as from non-profits and private institutions.
Pat Colacicco, vice president of AMS advantage group at CGI, said: CGI prides itself on delivering the government-specific functionality our clients rely on to help them maximize service to their constituents. GLM is an excellent example of CGI collaborating with our clients while increasing the capabilities of AMS Advantage for the benefit of our entire user community.
Recently on Jan 7th, 2009, CGI has announced enhancements to its Proponix360 global trade platform, enabling banks to provide open account and working capital optimization services to their customers.
