Apple Computer Inc is set to launch Mac OS 8 today, and hopes its users will be compelled to upgrade to the new system, bringing the company some much needed revenue. Mac OS 8, although it’s not the major re-vamp that many Apple users were hoping for, will boost performance and add internet and push technology features to the operating system.
