Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH and EPlus Mobilfunk GmbH are to scrap the minimum usage limit on their cellular networks and are reducing connection fees, while at the same time shorten the time alloted to each calling unit; the changes are aimed at making it less expensive for short calls and to compete with Deutsche Telekom AG, which last month introduced a new cellular telephone service with no basic monthly charge and simple billing.
