IBM Corp is still trying to run down its vast surplus manufacturing space, and on Friday, IBM Espana SA announced that it had sold its one-time 9370-manufacturing plant in Valencia to Concord, Massachusetts-based Manufacturers’ Services Ltd, a full-line contract manufacturing company formed in June a year ago. It already has plants in Roseville, Minnesota and Athlone, Ireland, and will open a third plant in Sunnyvale in the autumn. IBM Spain will be a customer.
