Sydney-based paging company Matrix Telecommunications Ltd says it plans to expand its operations in Asia through the development of wireless data services using Motorola Inc’s radio equipment and Apple Computer Inc’s Newton: its associated company, Easycall Communications Philippines Inc, has signed with Motorola for a two-way wireless data network in the Philippines, and has concluded heads of agreement with Apple to co-operate in developing a number of aspects of two-way wireless messaging services in the Asia-Pacific area.
