Merisel Inc, El Segundo, California has had enough of its ComputerLand acquisition. It is selling it on and says it expects to report a return to operating profitability for last quarter, in spite of relatively flat sales growth compared to the fourth quarter of 1995. It has definitive agreement to sell its Merisel FAB Inc unit, which operates Merisel’s ComputerLand Franchise and Datago Aggregation Businesses to Synnex Information Technologies Inc on undisclosed terms.
