A new company, Micro-MRP/ASA has been launched after the merger of Micro-MRP Inc, Foster City, California and ASA International Ltd, Framingham, Massachusetts. The new division will operate as part of ASA International’s Manufacturing Systems Group. According to the two companies it will then use the MRP II product line to serve a broader spectrum of manufacturing users. Micro-MRP supplies manufacturing and financial control software and ASA International designs and markets business computer systems based primarily on the DEC VAX.
