Micron Electronics Inc says it expects a substantial negative impact on earnings when it reports third quarter quarter’s figures in mid-June. The company blames price reductions on its PC systems that caused gross margins to sink about two-to-three percent for the quarter and start-up costs of international operations, particularly in Japan.
