The good news out of MicroPro International Corp, San Rafael, California, is that the WordStar star is going into the Apple Macintosh market with a product, acquired from Challenger Software of Homewood, Illinois: the unnamed product, code-named Smaug, is said to integrate word processing and desktop publishing features, and MicroPro, which hopes to launch it next summer, is paying the firm $3m over three years for publishing rights.
