Offers tools for donation and pledge management, campaign management and dashboard reports
Microsoft has released Dynamics CRM for nonprofits and nongovernmental organisations (NGOs), which provides constituent relationship management functionality as well as customisations for donation and pledge management, basic membership management, basic volunteer tracking, campaign management, dashboard reports, and support for online payment solutions.
The new offering is available through Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, an on-demand service hosted and managed by Microsoft.
According to Microsoft, the new software facilitates collaboration, streamlines business processes, reduces IT costs, and helps improve security. It also allows users across an organisation share information and repurpose existing campaign, marketing and customer service materials.
In addition, it also helps users to access information and improve constituent insight and management and comply with various accounting, tax and reporting guidelines, the company said.
Sarah Barnhart, senior program manager of community affairs at Microsoft, said: “We see technology being a key enabler of helping nonprofits to reduce administration and focus their resources on where they can have the biggest impact. Microsoft Dynamics CRM for nonprofits and NGOs includes customised features that simplify administration and management for organisations of every size.”
