Microsoft Corp would not comment on reports that it is working on a three way deal with content company Flextech and Ted Turner Broadcasting. Although Microsoft did say that its WebTV outfit is talking to unamed possible partners in the UK. Flextech owns the distribution rights to several cable and satellite channels and is currently talking to BSkyB to distribute these via its digital television service. Reports have said that if these talks are not successful, Flextech will push on with a digital offering of its own.
